Your plumbing systems are critical for modern comfort. These integral parts of your property require regular inspections to ensure the water flows smoothly into and out of your home. Regular plumbing inspections every two years can help identify and correct minor issues before they cause major damage that requires costly repairs. At Schneller Knochelmann, our certified plumbers are always ready with the tools and training required to inspect our clients’ plumbing systems.

Ready to have your plumbing inspected? Contact Schneller Knochelmann at (859) 757-1877 in Kentucky or (513) 407-4424 in Ohio, and we will schedule an appointment that is convenient for your schedule.

What Does a Plumbing Inspection Include?

Our certified plumbers can inspect the following plumbing systems and more:

  • Water heaters
  • Toilets
  • Bathtubs & showers
  • Kitchen & bathroom sinks
  • Main-line Water Pressure
  • Faucets
  • Sump pumps

  • Water Lines

During a plumbing inspection, our plumbers will confirm your pipes’ integrity, check joints and fittings for leaks, and test your systems to ensure the water is flowing the way it should. When the inspection is completed, we will provide you with a detailed report of the tests we’ve performed and the systems we’ve inspected.

Advantages of Regular Plumbing Inspections

There are many advantages to contracting regular plumbing inspections. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prevents damage to your home
  • Detects minor issues before they become major failures
  • Ensures efficient operation of your plumbing systems
  • Extends the life span of your plumbing systems
  • Reduces wear and tear on appliances, fittings, and fixtures

And, it provides peace of mind that will help you rest easier.

Contact Schneller Knochelmann at (859) 757-1877 in Kentucky or (513) 407-4424 in Ohio for more information about the tests we perform and the many reasons why homeowners and businesses in the region trust us with all their plumbing needs.

What To Expect During a Plumbing Inspection

During a standard inspection, we will check all connections to ensure there are no leaks or corrosion. We will  visually inspect shut-off valves, pipes, and other fittings to ensure there are no cracks or signs of failure. In areas where we can’t visually inspect the pipe, we can discuss options to use a video camera to look deep within the plumbing systems beneath your floors, and under your foundation.

Most plumbing inspections take approximately 1 hour to complete. This depends on the size of your home and the number of systems we need to test. If we discover problems during the inspection, this may take longer so that we can correctly determine the cause of the problem and the extent of the damage. At the end of the inspection, our certified plumbers will provide you a detailed report of your plumbing systems’ condition and the corrective plumbing repairs we recommend.
